exception: OmfiHPDomain_Init_Failed

hello I'm Using Avid XPress Pro v7.?
Im trying to digitize MiniDV footage from a Canon XL1S camera via firewire.

With a certain tape when it is finished digitizing, i can see the digitized footage avid sais:

EXCEPTION: omfiHPDomain_Init_failed. FilemsmMMOB.mdb

what does it mean?

Afterwards when i close the project this message keeps returning.
When i reopen -after a restart- the footage is gone '(not in the bin anymore).

Anyone experience on this issue?

You have corrupted media database. Have Xpress rebuild the files. Open your /OMFI MediaFiles, find msmFMID.pmr and msmMMOB.mdb files and trash them. Do it for each media volume that you have. Next time Xpress starts those files will be recreated. Make sure the tape you are having trouble with is named properly, just alphanumeric characters.
