Problem with MC Activation on Mac

Hi,

I completed successfully the installation of MC 4.0 on Snow Leopard OS and I clicked the Avid icon in order to start the program to first activate it. It does not start and I receive an error message that suggests me to contact technical support. Has anybody any idea of what this could be solved?

Let's first make sure it's not just 'MC 4.0', but at least 4.0.4, and not "Snow Leopard", but MacOS 10.6.2.
The actual computer model is relevant, too.
