problem watching video

[FAITHFATIH]

hi. i am new here and ı just started editing avid.i dont know a lot of things about it.i used edius and premiere before.i have a problem avid.i cant watch videos in the monitors, i push the space button and the timeline is goes but i cant see anytihng on the monitors.i can hear the audio its working, i tried everthing to watch what i done but i could not succeed.anybody knows the cause of this problem please help me.
