As it has been previously stated, Avid Forum is a Web site "of the users, by the users, for the users" to borrow the phrase. How much it will be 'for' remains to be seen, but it is ready for the 'by' and 'of' parts.
Setting up a Web site, even a fairly sophisticated and technologically advanced, is only half the job. The content is the king, to borrow yet another wisdom, and I can not envisage doing it all by myself. In best case scenario such content would only reflect my own perspective of the industry, which may or may not be adequate for a greater audience.
That is why Avid Forum is calling for contributors. If you have something to say that doesn't fit into the forum format, something tha goes beyond simple "Help me" question, if you have an opinion and a perspective and have been kind of considering blogging or have a worthy insight waiting to be shared, your contribution is most welcome here.
All you have to do is register and send me a massage you'd like to contribute. It's just that simple. Yes, there is getting used to this particular system, but I am sure you'll find yourself right at home if you ever used Microsoft Word. Anyway, help is always a mouse click away.
